Nanohana Jiyu and her father Sai have just moved from Tokyo to enjoy a nice peaceful life. And of course, it would not be a proper show if they were allowed to do this. After her first hectic day of school, Jiyu is confronted by a samurai who claims she is the reincarnation of his master, Yagyu Jubei, from 300 years ago. When she agrees to put on the "lovely eye-patch" she transforms into Yagyu Jubei II. She wants nothing to do with the lovely eye-patch, but with a persistent samurai now following her around, and assassins after her and the eye-patch, its not so easy to ignore her role.
